Big giant action figures!What not to love? I remember the goofy 1978 spider man from the cheap ralph Lauren polos commercial, but i never wanted it.He was stuck with his arm in the air, and by then i already had a spidey figure from mego's comic action hero line(Which was in the same scale as star wars figures). I was never all that impressed with omega supreme in the commercial.Sure, he could supposedly walk on his own, but by that time i'd already been burned by the zoids giant zerk.That awesome looking piece of junk couldn't take two steps without locking up. Why no he man and the masters of the universe toy commercial?They always had cool commercials.I have to admit, that alien action figure was cool for 1979.Very detailed.Also, that tendril figure always reminded me of david cronenberg's the fly.And the hulk and spider man commercial took me down memory lane simply for its use of outdoor play.I remember when all us kids used to build fortresses and battle grounds like that in the woods and have wars with the action figures for hours on end.Such good times.Siiiiiigh Darkknight2280:Calm down,Please.Ads generate revenue.That's important for a site that allows users to sign up for free and doesn't generate income any other way.Yes, the movie ad is a bit invasive and all, but just click it off.It takes about a second to do. :P
